So, I know I am WAY behind in posting about my programs, and I will continue to catch up, but I really wanted to post about the storytime I had this past Wednesday!
My storytime group has been a little bit rowdy this summer so I decided to switch gears and do a LOT of movement/participation books today.

Today's storytime was AWESOME! The kids were up and moving to every book I was reading! They also REALLY loved Press Here. I wasn't sure how this book was going to work with such a large group, but I had them mimic the directions in the air and they were SHOCKED when the dots move all around the page. By the time I got to the last book, I had kind of lost them, but I had a blast in this storytime, and the kids did too!
This was also my second week doing Los Colores, and a lot of the kids remembered the color names from the previous week, which was really cool to see/hear!
